Bell-Throat

Layer 1 · Habitat: Shrine Road

A lanky, eyeless biped with a throat sac that rings like a bell

Description

A lanky, eyeless creature that walks upright, with grey skin and a swollen sac at its throat that rings like a shrine bell. It hunts by listening, and it remembers everything it hears: prayers, chimes, the voices of delvers calling to each other. It uses them to lure prey into the shrines, then rings its throat until its victim can’t stand.
