The Bowed

Layer 1 · Habitat: Congregation

A tall, stooped Keeper of stone, robed and bent almost double

Description

Taller than any Keeper, stooped so far forward it is bent almost double, robed in stone, with its face hidden in the folds of its hood. It kneels at the heart of the crowd like a priest among its congregation. When it wakes, it begins a deep, grinding hymn that shakes the platform, and every penitent that hears it rises and fights harder.
